Michelle Turley, esthetician with The Skin Institute, received the Presidential Award from the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists.
Michelle received the award during the society's annual conference in San Diego earlier this year. The award is given yearly to a member who has contributed significantly to the skin care field in the areas of service and/or education.In addition to her fantastic work at the Skin Institute, Michelle has served in many roles for the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists (SPSSCS). Those roles include board member, committee chairman, chair for the 2003 Scientific Program in Boston and 2004 SPSSCS President. She continues to serve as liaison for their legal committee and as the production coordinator for the annual conference.
Past Presidential Award recipients have been Cristina Carlino, Founder of Biomedic and Philosophy Skin Care; The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (accepted by their President); and David Rahm, MD, Founder and Educator for Vitamedica.
