Question: I have several moles I want removed. Can that be done in your office without me going to a dermatologist first? I also want to know if they can all be removed at one time. Thank you.
Answer:
All of our physicians require that you see a dermatologist first to prove that the mole is, in fact, skin cancer. If it is or if the dermatologist feels that it should be removed by a plastic surgeon, he or she can then refer you to our practice. We do this for insurance purposes--if you are referred to us, all moles can be removed in our office in one session. Thanks!
