Upon returning to Georgia, Michelle joined Savannah Plastic Surgery as their in-office esthetician. Over the past decade, Michelle has worked with the physicians at SPS to add home treatment protocols, in-office facials and peels, makeup, and other complementing treatments to provide comprehensive skin care options for their patients. Update...
March 20, 2006 Michelle was appointed to the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology by the Governor of Georgia, Governor Sonny Perdue. The Board is responsible for reviewing applications, administering examinations, licensing qualified applicants and regulating the professional practice of licensees throughout the state.

Michelle's involvement on the Board means further representation for the medical skin care industry. She will be a great influence on the integration of medical skin care perspectives in an industry that is largely dominated by companies allied with luxury brands that cater to department store and beauty salon needs.

Michelle's background with Society Of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists paired with her position on the Board will help promote education in the cosmetology and medical skin care specialty. The goal is to provide more education and the delivery of safe, quality skin care for our patients.
