If you're looking to smooth away wrinkles, sculpt your waistline, or trim your thighs, you have plenty of options - both surgical and non-surgical.
For years, the non-surgical "quick fix" was gaining popularity, but as this article in Allure reveals, doctors are now seeing a marked shift. More patients are demanding long-lasting results, and opting for traditional plastic surgery.
Facial rejuvenation is a good example. Non-surgical procedures like Botox injections can be great for temporarily wiping away facial lines. But inevitably those wrinkles will return and more Botox will be needed. We're finding that some patients would rather have a facelift, even though the upfront costs are higher and they'll have to plan for some recovery time. But these patients prefer a long-lasting fix, rather than repeated costly trips to office for more and more Botox.
