Barbara L. Davies, MD
Plastic surgery is an advanced specialty that can be used to enhance various features of the body and improve a person’s overall appearance. With a variety of procedures available at Savannah Plastic Surgery, we are proud to help patients achieve their cosmetic goals and feel their best.
Dr. Davies was born and raised in central Pennsylvania and received most of her training in her home state. She received a B.A. in liberal Arts from the Pennsylvania State University, an M.D. from the Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia (where she was vice president of AOA), and completed five full years of General Surgery training at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in Philadelphia. Her Plastic Surgery Residency was completed at the Ohio State University Hospitals. She is Board Certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Professionally, Dr. Davies is a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons. She belongs to the American Society of Plastic Surgery and The American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and is an active member in both of their women’s Caucus. She recently attended the 2019 American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Conference in New Orleans. Dr. Davies has served as managing partner and is presently the Surgicenter Director. She maintains a broad-spectrum practice but has trended (by demand) toward cosmetic and breast surgery in the last few years.
As a baby-boomer, she understands the desires and goals of the generation and has experienced cosmetic surgery herself. She believes there is no reason you shouldn’t look as young as you feel.
