As Dr. Dan Deloach retires after more than 30 years as a plastic surgeon, he leaves a legacy that will continue to reshape lives for many years to come.

The legacy of Dr. Deloach, one of the founders of Savannah Plastic Surgery, was the subject of a recent article in South Magazine. The article talks about his career serving patients in Savannah, as well as his travels to poverty-stricken areas in Central America, performing reconstructive surgery for patients with life-altering deformities.
Dr. Deloach also dedicated much of his career to advances in technology and education in the field of plastic surgery. That work is one that will continue to bear fruit in the next generation of surgeons. “We’ve been successful in bringing in some very successful plastic surgeons to continue to carry on the practice and to continue to improve the services that are available to Savannah and Chatham County,” said Dr. Deloach in the article. “I have embraced training as a culture because I learned the value of it when I was in training.”
