Plastic surgery is an advanced specialty that can be used to enhance various features of the body and improve a person’s overall appearance. With a variety of procedures available at Savannah Plastic Surgery, we are proud to help patients achieve their cosmetic goals and feel their best.
Karen is a graduate of the 2008 South University Physician Assistant Program in Savannah, GA. She has 13 years of experience as a Physician Assistant, including 8 years of experience within a multi-specialty surgical practice and extensive experience as an Aesthetic Physician Assistant. Karen has received advanced, one-on-one training with plastic surgery and dermatology, as well as advanced training with aesthetic injection trainers from around the country. Karen is a certified Master Injector, with Advanced Cannula training.
Beyond her extensive medical background, Karen also has training in art and graphic design and is well known and appreciated for bringing an artistic eye and approach to facial sculpting and all injectables. Her specialties include neurotoxins (BOTOX®, Dysport®), dermal fillers, laser resurfacing, Profractional, Halo Hybrid Laser, Broad Band Light (BBL), and CoolSculpting®. Additionally, Karen has completed the Laser Safety Course with the esteemed John Hoopman, CMLSO and Advanced Sciton Laser training. Karen continues to expand her knowledge and expertise through ongoing training courses, national conferences, and continuing medical education specific to this field.
As an experienced provider, Karen recognizes the value of first listening to the patient’s concerns fully and in-depth, prior to building and implementing any customized plan. With a love for aesthetics and creativity, she truly enjoys being able to apply her artistic and analytical abilities to assist patients in achieving their aesthetic goals, creating beautiful and natural results.
