Ptosis of the Breasts
(View All Breast Surgery)

Question: I have been doing some research, and according to what I have found I have ptotic breasts. I guess what I am wondering what can I do non-surgically to help with this condition. Ever since my breasts developed they have been a little droopy, but since I have had my daughter they have gotten worse. I feel ugly and I hate my husband seeing me naked. I don't feel beautiful at all!

Answer:
There is no treatment for ptosis of the breasts without surgery. In mild cases, the placement of breast implants can lift the breasts as well as provide more volume. For more moderate cases, especially if the patient is happy with the volume, we can do a breast lift. The severe cases require both a lift and may need an implant as well, depending on the desire for more volume.
